PASSWORD RESET

If you experience issues accessing your Microsoft 365 Account, a password reset may resolve your issue. To reset your password please visit: https://passwordreset.nyls.edu/ and follow the steps below. If you experience any issues, email helpdesk@nyls.edu and make sure to leave a call-back number so a representative from the Office of Information Technology can call you back.

Enter your username, example: flast or nyls\flast and click ‘Next’.

NYLS’s self-service password reset tool will prompt you to answer two security questions. Please answer each question and click ‘Next’ to proceed.

Please reset your password. The guidelines for password creation require a minimum of 8 alphanumeric characters that include:

At least one UPPER CASE letter

  • At least one number
  • At least one special character, such as ?, $, @, etc.

The system will track previous passwords used, please use a unique password every time you update or change your password.
